Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

These terms cover your use of Arlo: the website, the waitlist, and the Arlo apps. Arlo is made by Coinpilot. Please read them, especially the parts on advice, risk and liability.

Arlo is not financial advice. Arlo is a research tool. Its agents find information, organize it and point out things you may want to look at. Nothing in Arlo is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. Coinpilot is not currently registered as an investment adviser or broker-dealer, and we are not your fiduciary. Arlo never places a trade or moves money. Every decision is yours.

Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Coinpilot, Inc. ("Coinpilot", "we", "us"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using Arlo in any other way, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Arlo.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract to use Arlo. If you use Arlo for a company or other organization, you confirm that you can accept these terms on its behalf.

The Disputes and governing law section asks you to settle most disputes by individual arbitration, and you give up the right to a jury trial and to class actions. Please read it.

What Arlo is

Arlo gives you a team of AI agents for trading research. Agents read market data, news, company filings, public social media and, if you choose, your own holdings. They raise what they find as cards, answer questions in chat and send alerts. You can add, set up and remove agents.

Arlo does not trade. It cannot place, change or cancel an order, and it cannot move money or assets in or out of any account. Arlo does not hold your money or securities.

Arlo is in early access. Features, limits and agents may change, and some may be labeled beta or preview. Beta features may be less reliable than the rest of Arlo.

Not financial advice

Everything in Arlo is for general information and education. This includes agent cards, chat answers, alerts, briefs, emails, case files, scores, watchlists and anything else Arlo shows or sends. None of it is investment, financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. None of it is a recommendation, endorsement, offer or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security, cryptocurrency or other asset, or to follow any strategy.

Arlo is personalized. It uses your holdings, watchlist, preferences and what you tell it to decide what to look for and what to show you. That makes it more relevant to you, but it does not make its output personal investment advice. Arlo only knows what you share with it, it does not assess whether any investment or strategy is suitable for you, and it does not take responsibility for your decisions.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and their results. Do your own research, and talk to a licensed financial, legal or tax professional before you make a decision.

Not a registered adviser or broker

Coinpilot is not currently registered as an investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading adviser or financial planner with the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, any U.S. state or any other regulator, in any country. We are not a bank. We do not offer brokerage, order execution, clearing, custody or portfolio management.

Using Arlo does not create an advisory, fiduciary or broker-customer relationship between you and Coinpilot. Nothing you connect to Arlo is insured by the FDIC, SIPC or any other agency because of Arlo. If we ever register or offer regulated services, we will update these terms first.

AI-generated content

Arlo's agents use AI models, including models from third-party providers. AI output is produced automatically and can be wrong. It may:

  • be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or biased;
  • misread a source, a filing or a number, or state something that is not true;
  • leave out information that matters, or include some that does not;
  • give different answers to the same question at different times;
  • not reflect current prices, even when Arlo shows a recent time.

We do not review each piece of output before you see it, and we do not adopt or endorse it. Check anything important against the original source before you rely on it. Arlo's output is also only as good as what you give it. Incomplete or out-of-date holdings or preferences will give less useful results.

Market data and other sources

Prices, news, filings, calendars, on-chain data and social media posts come from third parties. They may be delayed, wrong or missing, and we provide them as we receive them. Posts and accounts that Arlo reads or suggests, including the accounts you mark as trusted, are other people's views. Arlo showing them is not an endorsement, and we do not check their track record.

Investment risk

Trading and investing carry risk, and you can lose some or all of the money you put in. Some assets, including options, leveraged products and cryptocurrency, can lose value very quickly. Past performance, including any backtest, hypothetical or example figure Arlo shows, does not predict future results. We do not promise that any idea, card or alert will lead to any result.

Connected accounts

On plans that include it, you can connect brokerage accounts and wallets so agents can watch your positions. Connections are read-only. You sign in on your brokerage's own page or through a connection provider, and Arlo receives read-only access to data such as positions, balances and transactions. We never see or store your brokerage password.

  • Your relationship with your brokerage, exchange or wallet provider is between you and them, under their terms.
  • Connection providers may have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them.
  • Synced data can be late, incomplete or wrong. Your brokerage's own records are the official record.
  • You can disconnect an account at any time in Arlo, or revoke access from your brokerage.

You can also connect X or Reddit so agents can watch the accounts you follow and the subreddits you have joined. These connections are also read-only: Arlo never posts, likes, votes or sends messages for you, and those platforms' own terms apply.

You can also type in holdings by hand. You are responsible for keeping them accurate.

Your account

You can sign in with Apple, Google or email. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date. Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell us at support@coinpilot.com if you think someone else has used it. Accounts are for one person and cannot be shared or transferred.

Plans, trials and billing

Arlo has a free plan with limits and a paid Pro plan. We show the price, what is included and the renewal terms before you pay or start a trial.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period until you cancel. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal to avoid the next charge. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
  • Free trials turn into a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then. Each person gets one trial.
  • App Store and Google Play purchases are billed and managed by Apple or Google under their terms. Cancel and request refunds through them.
  • Refunds. Except where the law or a store's policy requires one, payments are not refundable.
  • Price changes. We will tell you in advance, and a new price applies from your next renewal. You can cancel before then.

Plan limits, such as the number of agents and messages, are set out in the app and may change. Taxes may be added where they apply.

Acceptable use

Do not use Arlo to:

  • break any law, including securities, commodities and anti-money-laundering laws;
  • manipulate a market, spread false information about an asset, or trade on material non-public information, or upload such information to Arlo;
  • present Arlo's output to anyone as your own professional advice, or sell or redistribute it as a service;
  • access Arlo by scraping, bots or automated means we have not approved, or collect other people's data;
  • copy, reverse engineer or decompile Arlo, or use its output to build or train a competing product or AI model;
  • get around limits, security or safety measures, including by trying to manipulate the AI into ignoring its instructions;
  • upload malware, or interfere with or overload Arlo;
  • use someone else's account or data without permission, or pretend to be someone else.

Your content

Your chats, notes, agent setups, watchlists, holdings and other things you put into Arlo remain yours. You give Coinpilot a license to host, copy, process and use them only to run, secure and improve Arlo for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to share what you put in.

If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.

Our property

Arlo, including its software, design, agents, prompts, names and logos, belongs to Coinpilot or its licensors. While you follow these terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Arlo for your own use. We keep all other rights.

Third-party services and app stores

Arlo links to and works with services we do not control, such as brokerages, sign-in providers, data providers and social networks. We are not responsible for them, and their terms apply when you use them.

If you get Arlo from the Apple App Store, these terms are between you and Coinpilot, not Apple. Apple has no duty to support or maintain the app and is not responsible for any claims about it. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. The same applies to Google if you get Arlo from Google Play, to the extent its terms require.

Changes and availability

We may change, suspend or stop any part of Arlo at any time. We try to keep Arlo running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Alerts and notifications can arrive late or not at all, so do not rely on Arlo as your only way to track a position, a price or a deadline.

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Using Arlo after that means you accept the new terms.

Ending your use

You can stop using Arlo and delete your account at any time in the app, under Account, then Manage account. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect Arlo, other users or third parties. The sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply after your account ends, including those on advice, risk, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and disputes.

Disclaimer of warranties

Arlo is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Coinpilot disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free service. Coinpilot does not warrant that any content, data or AI output is accurate, complete or current, or that using Arlo will lead to any investment result.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Coinpilot and its affiliates, officers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, lost data or lost opportunities, arising from or related to Arlo, its content or AI output, or any decision you make, even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for all claims related to Arlo is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Arlo in the six months before the claim arose, or US $100.

Some places do not allow some of these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Coinpilot and its affiliates, officers and employees against any claims, losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your misuse of Arlo, your content, or your breaking these terms or the law.

Disputes and governing law

If you have a problem, please email support@coinpilot.com first. Most issues can be resolved that way. If we cannot resolve it within 60 days, either of us may start a formal proceeding as set out below.

These terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Arbitration. Any dispute related to Arlo or these terms will be resolved by final and binding arbitration under the laws of Hong Kong, conducted in English, on an individual basis. You and Coinpilot each give up the right to a jury trial and to take part in a class action, class-wide arbitration or other representative proceeding.

This does not remove any right you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, including the right to bring a claim in your local courts where those laws give you one.

General

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and Coinpilot about Arlo. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. You agree that we can send you notices electronically, by email or in the app.
